The Huntsman: Winter's War : someone please tell me,lol seriously?

So after freya found out that her men didn't actually kill her best huntsman (Eric) when she tells Sara to kill him after showing how vicious and evil the queen is supposed to be are we supposed to be that freya would be ok with Sara only hitting him with one arrow in the chest? Then they all take off with the mirror like she would take his head to make sure he's dead? The movie is ok but that is just lazy ass directing,absolutely ridiculous

I think she just really believed that Sara was with her after all those years. She said something about being in the dungeon for 7 years (obviously a lie) but gives us an idea of how long she had been by Freya's side post Erik leaving, and she truly believed he just left her too so she hated him. And as she never missed Freya probably thought that she had hit him in the heart and killed him. She didn't really seem to care before about killing him so why should she care that much now, she got what she wanted with the mirror

I also have a question: If the spending 7 years in a dungeon story is false, what's with the scars on Sara's back? That made me think her story might have been true
