Assassin's Creed : gstards's life has no purpose anymore after this movie.. well.. failed

Not came here to troll, nor trash the movie. Just wanted to rub this moron on his face the fact that movie's getting discredited by critics.

He is that kind of cancerous fanboys here on IMDb who go around trashing other film franchises for the sake of his own. He spent a lot of time on Warcraft board before and after movie's release convincing everyone that Warcraft will suck, and kept saying that Assassin's Creed is an upcoming masterpiece and will be superior of WC in every way because of his fanboyism of the same game franchise and being a general Marion Cotillard fanboy.

Bottom line, most of his activity on Warcraft board were pure hatred towards Warcraft fanbase, games in general and movie itself due to HIS imaginary competition against Assassin's Creed, especially the movie despite both were not even competing in the box office. Some of us regulars tried to explain him to stop with spewing crap, but every time he went full retard. He became obsessed with sucking up to this not-yet released movie (few months back) and hating on Warcraft. He even openly admitted that he was rooting for movie to fail, and kept stubbornly refusing facts that AC will struggle in box office against Rogue One and that there's a chance this movie, like Warcraft might be bad as well.

I watched Warcraft, movie after all did sucked.. but I couldn't have possibly known that before watching, could I? Just as I can't know that this movie sucks since I have yet to watch it. But never once I came on this board, and came spewing crap against it like a spoiled child.

Seriously, if anyone thought Warcraft sucked, then I guess they don't like blockbuster movies then. Pretty much every Marvel movie that came out were on par with what Warcraft showed.

As a Fantasy fan, I'd rather re-watch Warcraft than another dumb Marvel movie with infinite quips.

Please tell me what redeeming qualities does Warcraft have as a movie other than visual effects? I am tired of Marvel movies, especially those in MCU continuity, but nonetheless those movies have some sort of entertaining value and charismatic actors. Warcraft was none of that. Average soundtrack, average to terrible acting, terrible story-telling, horrendous editing in general which spawned problems with story-telling, pacing, characterization etc.

This is the Assassin's Creed board, so no need to start a Warcraft discussion all over again. But why should I even justify myself? Warcraft ist my favourite movie of 2016. Period. I think Deadpool is plain bad, but nobody demands an excuse for bad taste from Deadpool fans.

The real question is.. why are you replying to the comment which I made for another user? I get it, you like Warcraft but it was terrible movie. That can be subjective and, but if you watch many other movies and take off biased goggles, you'll realize that yourself. I've gave my reasons why I think it does suck, and I've right to turn this into discussion about WC since A) this is my thread, B) user who I replied to clearly aimed for such discussion, and C) same user felt like the best way to oppose my opinion is saying "F you" to me.

Movie lacked magic, atmosphere was boring. If I had zero clue about Warcraft lore, and watched the movie before researching into the lore, I'd avoid the lore like a plague. Luckily, I know that lore deserved better than it got. We deserved than we got. If you like anything with Warcraft slapped on it, that's fine. But keep that to yourself.

Judging by how you react whenever someone shares their opinion about that movie, you come out as like you're raising it to Heavens. I am just gonna say one thing and feel free to make what you want from that. MCU movies have heart, so does Warcraft. But unlike MCU, it's heart is in wrong place.

I cannot comment further on DC, especially if you're referring to DCEU. Those are indeed garbage, and as much as I am tired of generic MCU movies and overuse of childish jokes, they still come out more interesting than Warcraft.

I don't get your problem with the soundtrack. I think it is original and fitting at the same time. I totally love the soundtrack.
I showed a few pieces of the movie to a friend who doesn't like fantasy at all and without me asking him he mentioned how great the soundtrack is. This was the first thing he noticed.

Like I said, soundtrack was average at best so that's the least of my problems with the movie. They could've got away with such forgettable soundtrack if they got all other aspects of the movie right, like the actual story-telling. My main problem with the soundtrack is that's it's generic, quite opposite of what you think. It starts very good, then falls flat just 10 seconds later, and becomes too repetitive.

After hearing so many good bits from WoW, and some from Warcraft III like Call of Arms, this comes out as a hack work to me. Sorry, but Blizzard set the high expectations for me. If their game soundtracks were trash, maybe I would have appreciated movie soundtrack more.

Funny thing about critics' reviews, I could swear he jumped in to defend critics when Warcraft was getting trashed, now when AC is getting pretty much the same treatment all the sudden critics are evil spawns of Satan. It will probably take a lot of time for him to get a reality check.

Sorry about my troll post to you about Assassin's Creed being submitted for Oscar nominations. I just needed to make sure that I wasn't flagged as a troll by the other Assassin's Creed fans here when I started posting reviews. I didn't want to see the movie fail but since it has, I'm happy to see gstards cry.

Oh yeah, I remember vividly the reign of terror that Gstard brought on the Warcraft board for months about how the movie was a failure waiting to happen and how much of a masterpiece Assassins Creed was going to be in comparison. I mean, the guy made it his mission in life to trash the Warcraft movie and its fans. Well, now that the overwhelmingly bad reviews are in across the board for this movie, the guy is almost no where to be found even on here compared to how active he was just a few days ago. I can't imagine how bitter sweet this all is for you and the rest of the fans over at the Warcraft board.

Yes I remember him. I never understood his agenda. And even now I would say Warcraft has a better chance for a sequel if Assassin's Creed is a success. There is no point in playing these movies off against each other. A successful video game movie would help other video game movies. Gstard was to stupid to understand this six months ago.
I don't want Assassins's Creed to be a bad movie, but at least I have some joy in thinking of Gstard after reading these bad reviews.

That's exactly the same view I have with Assassin's Creed movie. I don't hate it, don't want it to fail but if it does fail, I'll gladly swim in gstards's tears.

I don't know what anyone sees in that movie. It's fantasy fail.

Only drooling fanboys could possibly enjoy something with acting so wooden, a story so dull-witted, and designs that were preposterously true to the outlandishly impractical game designs.

It succeeded only in China where even the dismal "Transformers" movies make hundreds of millions and Eastern Europe, where anything looks good compared to their own movies.
