It is bizarre, maybe they haven't found the right US distributor or working on timing.
Not sure how Trash at this late date might figure into awards, but that could be a possibility
The R rating probably hurts at the box office, so maybe cold feet.
In any event it is a film I would like to see, so disappointing.

I'm guessing they can't figure out how to market it and I'll be a fat dollar that if it ever does get distribution in the U.S., it'll have a different title.

I managed to find a link online with subtitles but it took some digging. Great movie though. I hope it does get a US release but it's definitely a film worth seeing.

It's out now, on demand and iTunes, as well as in select theaters. It did fail at the box office, so if its playing near you, see it on the big screen!

It's on Netflix now. Just watched it. And loved it! Don't pay for it on Amazon. The kids are the heroes in this inspiring story.
