Star Trek: The Next Generation : HD remastered? Wow!
Re: HD remastered? Wow!
The first episode you choose is The Dauphin.
Re: HD remastered? Wow!
Not a complete waste - Madchen Amick's appearance makes it worth a viewing. Also Worf's views on mating rituals and Riker and Guinan's "how to be a pick-up artist" coaching are both pretty funny.
I have a brain and good taste, so no, I'm not part of the target demographic.

Agreed, Rev.
RIP Gene Wilder. RIP Barbara Hale. You were great in Perry Mason. RIP William Christopher.

It's one of my top favorite episodes. The Riker, Guinan stuff was funny, and Picard said Worf's name 8 times compared to Data's twice, I believe. It's a win win.

Do you keep notes with every episodes on how many times Worf's name is mentioned and how many times Data is mentioned CJ?
Re: HD remastered? Wow!
Yeah. I bought "The full journey" 2 weeks ago as a bargain, after confirming how awful the first season DVD boxset, which i bought years ago but never watched beyond the first 2 episodes, looked. Right now I'm in the middle of season 2 and still blown away by how awesome it looks. And as I hadn't watched the show since at least 20 years, only watched the movies regularly, I'm totally rediscovering and loving the show.
Re: HD remastered? Wow!
I'm fairly sure it's been discussed here already but I've heard the process of getting TNG into HD wasn't as straight forward as one would think. Apparently there were missing shots that had to be reconstructed and some of the available material just wasn't upscale friendly in that it was only available in digital formats. Makes you appreciate it even more.
