Scream Queens : Episode two joked about shooting Liz Cheney in the face

Because joking about shooting conservatives in the face is apparently funny, Scream Queens decided to use Tuesday nights episode to target Liz Cheney, literally.

And yes, if you think that SQ is trying to be "Highway to Heaven," you clearly haven't been watching. "Family Guy" and "South Park" can be put in the smae category. Tasteless? Offensive? Yep. But also funny, which is all they're really trying to be.

Anyway, thanks for the reminder about the Falkland Islands joke. I forgot about that one. Funniest part of that scene for me.

It's a little different. Dick Cheney actually SHOT SOMEONE IN THE FACE. No one connected with the people you mentioned did that.

Also, Liz Cheney is a politician in her own right, currently running for office in Wyoming. The people you mention are only in the public eye because of association.

But every other "politically incorrect" joke they've made is ok, right? Like just one example, the "Best Buy parking lot" joke which referenced a real life murder case.

Conservatives are so thin skinned. If that offended you, this isn't the show for you.

I do. I don't know if I'd say I love this show, but I look forward to it each week. With the dearth of good comedy on TV, this one stands out. In fact, this one and Last Man on Earth are the only current comedies I'd recommend to somebody.

i'm not a Republican/conservative (at all!) but even I thought that Liz Cheney "joke" was incredibly lame and heavy handed/on the nose. i don't really like Liz Cheney from every/any interview i've seen her in but i would never want her to be shot/attacked. when Chanel #1 makes a vicious, mean comment or joke at Chanel #5, it's funny because the comment/joke is directed at a fictional character. a joke about a actual person being shot in the face is just dumb/lame.

There's Conservative and then there's the republican party so can you American's petition to have Obama back. He's still the best person to run your country.
