Krampus : The ending is how YOU interpret it.

The ending is how YOU interpret it.

Director Michael Dougherty literally says that on the commentary, that they specifically did it in a way so there was no right or wrong way to view i

Re: The ending is how YOU interpret it.

I feel like the ending could be interpreted two different ways. Spoilers coming. Either it actually happened but was undone and krampus left that ornament a reminder, or they are stuck in that snowglobe. I think the latter is true but the former makes me feel better lol

Re: The ending is how YOU interpret it.

Yeah. The classic cop-out for writers who don't know what to do. "It's up the viewer, LOL!"

Re: The ending is how YOU interpret it.

really? Some movies don't need a specific ending. They went with the one they did because they knew either way people would argue about it, so they went with one where it's up to the viewer. People do that.

And frankly I don't understand why both sides of the argument are acting like a bunch of c@ck-waffles and saying the other side is retarded. Just accept that some people think the ending is different and move on. No one is right or wrong in this case.

American Horror Story Season 6: Donald Trump

Re: The ending is how YOU interpret it.

Most evidence leans on them being brought back after they learned the true meaning of the season. With Max as the lone holdout in needing to take back his wish. This ending is backed up by Omi's knowledge of where Krampus takes his victims. She wouldn't know this if she hadn't confronted Krampus like Max did. Ergo, she lied about how it ended that night. To ensure Max committed a truly selfless act, and not just do it because it was what Omi did so many years ago. Then there is the tie-in Comic which supports the "happy" ending. I put quotation marks around happy because we see that receiving a bell means he is always watching you.

Re: The ending is how YOU interpret it.

I'm surprised people think it's even open to interpretation.
