400 Days : Dane Cook

Dane Cook

Is Dane Cook as annoying as he usually is?

Re: Dane Cook

Pretty much. And throwing Dane cook into any experiment would pretty much guarantee it will end in disaster. I mean, that's just asking for trouble. It's like one of those universal life lessons, like "always pee before you go" or "don't feed the Mogwai after midnight," or "Dane Cook will ruin everything."

Re: Dane Cook

I really dislike Dane Cook, but I didn't mind him in this.

Re: Dane Cook

Let's be honest here, though, no space agency worth its salt would have let someone with the sociopathic tendencies displayed by Dane Cook's character within 50 miles of their experiment. Given that the character WAS played by Dane Cook, make that 100. I certainly wish I'd never gone near it - one of the lamest endings to a movie I can remember off the top of my head.

Re: Dane Cook

It's not a coincidence that Dane Cook is the only "EXECUTIVE PRODUCER" for this film.

For many movies, the top producer line item is typically reserved for the largest financial backer.

Odds are good that Dane Cook funded most of this low-budget disaster and put himself in the middle as co-star - very similar to how Pierce Brosnan and others operate.

Re: Dane Cook

Yes.

Every person that served can be called a veteran, but not every veteran can be called a Marine.

Re: Dane Cook

At one time I think Dane Cook was a stand-up comedian He should have stayed there

"My people skills are just fine. It's my tolerance to idiots that needs work."

Re: Dane Cook

He's not as obnoxious as he is in his stand up, but his character is meant to be unlikable.
