Lake Bell : Lake Bell, not beautiful ??? Wrong !!!

For all of you who think that she's not absolutely gorgeous, think again. Looks like Nelly Furtadto? No.
This woman is not only beautiful, but a very nice person as well. How do I know? Met her, yes. Keep in mind that a pretty woman that is also a beatiful person is more than exceptional. It may be difficult to realize how rare that is, but keep in mind that beauty is skin deep, but a lovely person with an excellent personality is beyond rare. Appreciate this lady while you can, because changing someone's bigotted mind doesn't happen that often. Give this lovely person another chance, and I think you'll be thankful for the opportunity. Nice people tend not to last long in this business, so keep an eye out, and please be open minded. I think she'd appreciate it.

I think she is very unattractive, but in the Vegas trailer she looks rather pretty. I think she has a face that should not be made up with make up. She is one of those natural beauties. Her pics on IMDB are all made up, so therefore she looks unattractive to me. She is probably a lovely girl, but needs to hire a different stylist/make up artist.

I've seen her in a few interviews. She's not only beautiful, but she's articulate and has a sense of humor too.

It's because she has orange hair and has a bigger than normal nose(and has chosen to not have surgery). Sure, people have their specific taste, but more and more I realize that the average male(especially american), is very easy to generalize what they feel an attractive woman is. Small, skinny, big lips, blonde/brunette, tan skin, nose surgery..botoxetc. It's not really a generalization anymore, the media has skulpted our male generation to only be attracted to this "special race" of women.

Now I am/have been attracted to many women that fit into some of these categories.and there's nothing wrong with it. But because a woman has auburn/orangish hair.or a bold nose, should be no reason to think of as unattractive.it's just that it strays from our society's "norms" of an attractive woman.

I happen to think Bell is a pretty attractive womanphysically. I have never met her, so I will obviously not be able to comment on her inner beauty/personality. Anyone that thinks they can comment on someone's personality through watching interviews and movieswell you don't.. She seems to be light-hearted and fun from her films, but there's no real way to know what or who she is without being an actual friend that spends a lot of time with her.

Anyway.that's my rant. You don't have to find Bell attractive, or any women that tend to stray from our mainstream media's "norm of a woman". I am not saying that just because you don't find this specific woman attractive that you are simple-minded when it comes to women. But realize that many of you have been brainwashed into thinking that the most attractive women are small/skinny/nose-jobs/..etc.

What I have found with Lake Bell is that she looks FANTASTIC on-screen, and on camera in general for that matter, but she does not strike me as being very photogenic. For example, when I saw her pictures on IMDB I frankly did come to the conclusion that she was unattractive, however when viewing "Over Her Dead Body", (which is quite sadly the only film starring her that I have ever seen, although it was cute), I was actually STUNNED by how beautiful she is. The fact remains that many people (regardless of where they rank on the God/Goddess or 'average' continuum), DO look better in person than in photos. In her case, I find this difference to be rather extreme, but have since seeing her on screen deemed her as being VERY attractive. In the event that she's a beautiful human being on the inside as well, I would have to agree with the OP that she stands as a 'force to be reckoned with', if you will, amongst the human race.

She is pretty in a kind of unorthodox way. Very nice to look at. The end.

I think she's hot and cute. May be a bit of a butterface (nice body, but her face), still I found her very appealing in the movies she appeared. The scene in "Over her dead body" where she runs all wet and half-naked in the gym made my pheromone levels go insane.

I think she would fall into the "handsome" category. She is very attractive but not a typical beauty by todays standards.
