Having to prove to racist that I, as a black man, earned what I have achieved. My grandmother worked housekeeping at St Mary's Hospital. On the weekends she cleaned houses for nurses. She used to take me with her over to the head nurse's home, so I could play with her children. This lady took me, with her children one day to do some testing at a private school. My scores were so good, they offered me a scholarship, and I was the first black kid to go there.

They got bomb threats, and everything else. It was in the papers. Plenty people didn't want me there, and they let me know it. My scores, not my race got me there, and it was an uphill battle from then on. I was the first, or the only black on/in so many clubs/schools/teams so many times in my life, I've lost count. All from one lady just giving me an opportunity. Placing a stack of test in front of me. I started out in a whole different world than my half-siblings. I may be a little bit older than you think, but I didn't get "Affirmative Action".

Blacks are basically riding the coat tails of Whites. Whites clearly can create a decent (enough) country, and that without blacks or non Whites. Blacks cannot create decent (enough) countries. Even when they are given two up and running nations, bread baskets of the continent, Rhodesia and South AFrica, they run them into the ground.

The average African American is 25% non-African. We are descendants of those very white people that you say created this country. The British weren't doing anything worthwhile till the Romans brought it to them. And then it took them hundreds of years to get it together after Rome pulled out. These are just cycles of power, nothing else. Romans from Greeks, from Egyptians, etc. But again, none of that has anything to do with you. But you can't just hand over shyt to someone clueless, without teaching someone how to run it.

I don't know if you've been to many African countries or not, but there are many that run just fine. Many even have a lower homicide rate than the US. A lot safer than many "white countries". Africa is a big continent, with many different countries.

I'm a guy that's proud on my family's contribution to this country, and I've researched, interviewed, and DNA tested my way into everything that I could to celebrate it. I doubt very few people love this country more than me, and I have passed that same love on to my sons. One is at the Citadel right now.

I'll say something about them all. Black people are generally good people - loyal, proud, heroic and quite capable at excelling at anything they attempt. They love their moms too.

MLK was the greatest civil rights leader in the last 120 years, hands down. Adrian Peterson is one of my all time favorite players, and a really, really good football player. But ultimately, so far Jim Brown was greater - even for real life projects.

That wonderful kid who was brought over from Sierra Leon to MIT based off his own wonderful, genius mechanical mind - has a very bright future ahead of him. Easily one of the smartest foreigners to come into this country to study, and was a light to his community before that Now if only I could remember his name without looking it up

How about music? The Supremes were perhaps the greatest vocal group I can think of, and that is just for starters.

There are too many of them, so I think I will leave it at that. But, I should probably add a personal one. My friend Robert, (well, the younger one), is a very funny, and outstanding individual. He was the best comedian in the class, but not in a bad way; the best ones.

Even some feminists argue that Michael Jackson was probably framed and never actually committed child rape. Obviously he was one of the greatest musicians of all time. I dont know enough about dance to know, but I would persume professional dancers think of him as a great dancer, too.
