The oldest game on his list is from 2007.
It would take me quite some time to put together my top 10, as I'd have to take the time to consider games like Gunstar Heroes, Megaman 2, X-COM UFO Defense, Master of Orion 2, Phantasy Star IV, Gradius V, etc.

Elder Scrolls games have gotten worse with each iteration. Daggerfall, even though it hasn't aged well, was the best. Best modding community around, though. The mods are the only reason I have any interest in that series.
Would rather replay older RPGs like Baldur's Gate and Planescape, or JRPGs like Lufia 2 and Terranigma.

1. Mass Effect. Enjoyed the game. Bought all 3 of them and will buy the new one.
2. Dues Ex. Never played any of them but heard good things.
3. Sleeping Dogs. Just got it in January but haven't played it.
4. RDD. Another great game. I will buy the sequel when it comes out.
5. I know nothing about that.
6. Sktrim. One of the best games I have ever played.
7. FCP. I haven't played this yet but played FC4 and enjoyed that one. I plan on buying this one too.

I have an Xbox one. Just finished the new Doom 4 2016 game. Loved it. Excellent game and would highly recommend it. Currently playing Wolfenstein the new order and it is pretty good also. After that I'll Move onto Dishonored 2 and Far Cry Primal.

Video games weren't invented in 2007. Even by that standard, your list is NOT diverse.
- Not a single 2D title.
- Not a single classic title.
- Not a single import title.
- All well known console releases.
- Most if not all fit within a very LIMITED GTA Sandbox-style/Western RPG mold.
You call that diverse? Uh, no. Your top list looks no different than the average run-of-the-mill IGN/Gamefaq teenager. You know people with very limited video gaming experience.

Not bad. I'm a huge fan of "Skyrim" and "Red Dead Redemption".
I know they're a bit older now, but have you ever played any of the "Legacy Of Kain" games? Love those games too.
