If you go down this road Netflix, after we send you bad user notes and ratings for the show (and it will tank), and continually push this stuff through a long running series, and more - I will cancel my membership.

You have finally made a business decision that has potential to lose you a lot of customers; something I do not think you have ever done. And especially backing something so stupid, so wrong, so discriminatory and racist (while pretending to be antiracist) is just insane.

It's interesting how you view division and race relations: the way to fix things is to be completely silent about them. Your approach is basically "sweep everything under the rug, it'll fix things."

The original movie was funny and it actually balanced race issues in a smart, balanced way. The black main character herself had issues with dating a white guy (a conflict she had to resolve) and it showed ethnicities, other than white, harboring racist prejudices (like the Asian guy wanting a black guy just because he's black).

It also showed how white, racist college frat boys can do anything they want, because they don't need to fear for repercussions. Until they actually do.

If those shows were not to my taste then I wouldn't watch them. I don't censor stuff. If its cleared for the public to watch then why would I have an issue with it? There have been films and shows about genocides and child trafficking, its good for people to learn such horrors exist in the world.

That would be like me axing my cable provider's service because they aired something I deemed offensive. It just doesn't make any sense.

For example, Netflix offers that piss-poor Ghostbusters (2016) reboot. I absolutely loathe and despise it, but I'm not about to cancel my subscription over it.

The good outweighs the bad when it comes to T.V. shows off of their site. I'd miss Stranger Things (2016) and House of Cards (2013) something awful because of one lousy decision.

They'll take the hint if nobody views it. That's the best you can hope for.

Netflix is already on notice for the amount of times I see it come out of my account after not really using it that month. More movies, classics, 80's, 90's films, good ones. Not more original programming.

Are you kidding? If they did anything like that it'd be the lead story on every MSM "news" program, and the SJW "torch and pitchfork" crowd would descend on Netflix's headquarters like locusts. And if Barry were still in office, his DOJ and FCC would be investigating it and he would have signed an Executive Order to stop the Post Office from delivering disks to subscribers who still use that.
