Brian Van Holt : what a terrible actor!

Just watched threshold and he is so bad in it!! He just sounds like he's gonna crack into some sort of bill and ted voice every now and then... I half expect him to go duuude after everything he says... This series would of been good if he was not in it!

I've only seen him in 'John From Cincinnati', but he seemed pretty decent in that show to me.

Can't speak for Threshold, but Brian's work in JFC, Basic and even the pretty awful House of Wax demonstrate that he is not only good, but that he also has quite a range.

Mr. Brian Van Holt is NOT a terrible actor when it comes to portraying hard-ass military men in films like Black Hawk Down and Windtalkers. He should try portraying a U.S. Navy SEAL next time in another action thriller.

At this point, I'd be happy to see Brian in a new anything, but I think it would be great if he could get away from the military type of role. He proved himself in John From Cincinatti, proved that he is capable of far more than that. I was at home yesterday during the day when Threshold was running back to back. At first I didn't care much for the character, but it grew on me overtime. And to the poster that commented above that he looked good "running with a gun", you should check this series out more thoroughly. He looked very very good in black from head-to-toe, turtleneck, Kevlar vest, pants tucked in his boots; in black suit with black dress shirt unbuttoned, etc, etc. Other than the white t-shirt, that was 3 sizes too big for him, he looked good in everything;-)

i would have to disagree with you when brian did threshhold he had other things on his mind at the time so cut him some slack .

If you don't like his acting then why are you on his board????? Get a life!!! Seriously.

The guy was the best thing on David Milch's HBO show JFC . Also, just the fact that he got the part goes to show how good he is. I'm sure EVERYBODY in Hollywood was dying to get that role.

I think Brian is an awesome actor especially compared 2 some of these crappy actors coming out today. Brian was the only 1 worth watching in Threshold. :D
