White noise; when the dead talks through radio or tv..?
I was listening to this song on youtube..my ex used to sing pearl jam's 'better man' to me..well, the first night I learned about his passing, I listened to the song on youtube and I heard something like static-muffled talking.

I want to believe in it.

Why is there static in that song

It's a sound spectrum in which all frequencies between the high and low end are equal in amplitude. White noise is used to tune and calibrate audio recording and reproduction equipment.

I don't know the ghost term for it.

Because instances of it occurring only exist anecdotally.


To be accurate, you'd be describing EMI/RFI (electromagnetic/radio frequency interference). That's a real thing. When it can be shown with certainty that ghosts can emit it, it'll get it's own term since the term white noise already means something in context of signals and sound detection.

For technical fields, you never conflate your reference/constant/standard (white noise used to calibrate equipment) with your working material/source/data (detected white noise from ghosts).

Given that the equipment used to detect white noise is calibrated with white noiseyou can see the problem with using the term for both.

But I just want to believe in it. It's very comforting to think he might be connecting with me through a song.

He sounded exactly like Eddie Vedder. I'm so grateful for his voice.

this sounds weird or crazy but when my bird died..I heard cage noises and like his cage sounds(him fluffing out or jumping on his swing) for months after his death.

I know someone who worked at an old folks home and someone died and for odd reason the persons phone rang the next night, in the middle of the night and the nurse picked it up and there was nothing there but static.

I believe in energy.

It's possible when you consider that we, as souls, are energy living within an energy field around us that's everywhere, much like fish in an ocean. I would imagine it's possible for a soul's energy to affect a transmission from an electrical frequency or current.

Not saying that's what happened but I believe it's possible.

My cousins wife was murdered years ago and my cousin never recovered. I want to find the positive ways to cope. I'm gonna try to do the stuff that he wanted to do and I'll report back to him. He really wanted to go to Utah to see the rock formations and he wanted to read Wittgensteinetc

This is the first time that I've ever lost someone that I've romantically loved with all of my heart. I was his last gf and I feel like I owe it to him to have a good life. That's all he wanted for me.

I feel like I have to be a better person.

Yes, I believe our loved ones want us to be happy for whatever amount of time we have left in this world.

I kept saying if I was there..I could've helped him but all my friends and family are saying "you would've died too". But I'm so sad that he died alone.

nobody should die alone..if I saw a stranger dying..I'd hold their hand.
We all would.
