In Red Widow there seems to be history/tension between Marta and Luther Does that ever get developed in Penoza or is it just my imagination?

The part of Carmen (Marta in the US version) is one that develops over time. Her background is a criminal family and she does not came out smelling like roses. This chick knows her business (in the Dutch version) and is not some frail, dumb, blonde. But she's a family woman now and her kids come first to keep their family (or what's left of it) safe ,she has no choice to clean up the mess her husband got in.
As for now I have to conclude that the Dutch version is more realistically filmed and more character oriented. And thus in my opinion of better quality (but I could change my mind further on). Think the part of Luther for Luke Goss is an excellent choice, think he captures the original character pretty well. Do not like the choice for Marta alot. Our Carmen is a beautiful actress (and extremely talented) but not in the same sense, more tangible real Not Hollywood beautiful.
I've enjoyed the two episodes of Red Widow But it cannot be compared to the Dutch version. Funny to see that some lines and situations are an exact copy and others are totally different or new to the story.
Wait and see how this turns out Hope it picks up in ratings (both viewers and on here)
Cheers,
Alex
