Was great in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Had he lived longer I think he would have been up there with some of the most remembered actors.

I've only seen him in "Death Wish" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" but he did exemplary work. He was a fine actor taken from all of us way too soon


I also remember him as either Rosenkrantz or Guildenstern in the Richard Burton HAMLET. Apparently, Redfield published a short book based on a diary that he kept during the production, recalling his experiences working with Burton, Gielgud, and others.
