The Missing : Madeleine McCann
Re: Madeleine McCann
You know wondered about this myself as I started watching this series myself this week. I can't imagine the pain of having a child vanish.
Re: Madeleine McCann
Same.
Re: Madeleine McCann
Yeah, it seems clearly inspired by the McCann case. A British couple vacationing on the continent and they young child goes missing.
Re: Madeleine McCann
Yes I read that it was.
Re: Madeleine McCann
Hmm, except in the MaCann case, they (the parents) know exactly what happened.
Re: Madeleine McCann
Oh? and you know this for a fact do you jessec-07804? I would be very careful with your conjecture as people like you seem unaware of the damage you do with your mouths. Frankly, your type makes me sick.
Re: Madeleine McCann
You might try reading this. You 'might' learn something.

Re: Madeleine McCann
You could just have said they 'might' just know.
Why would an innocent party not wish by using truth drug, lie detection, hypnotherapy regression or whatever to 01. dispel all those assumptions or 02.remember some salient point.
I know that using these things when the subject has been exposed to so much information can make them say things which make them seem guilty. But if they include unknown things such as where the body is buried or who bought the child, two of the many suggestions, that would be helpful and sort the case out. Of course they might have to be given some sort of immunity but everyone would then know a/the truth. This has been a terrible case which ever way it happened. Either scenario has a young innocent child, dead, abducted or whatever the mind can conjure as a none too pleasant outcome. If abducted the McCanns have had a long period of loss/grief. And we may have added so much misery to those emotions.
It would be great to be able to retract many of the thoughts or indeed outright accusations regarding this sad event. What would be worse is that the many WE may get to be right.
What is odd, other than the WORLD Famous Derek Acorah the mediums have given us nothing. From that the logic is that the child is alive ad therefore unable to make contact. Are there not other types. Remember some of these "special" people can even assess pet psychiatric problems over a phone line. How clever is that? BTW mediums or suchlike who get paid or make excuses for this SERVICE are in my opinion low characters. I include here any peddler of faith who makes a decent living out of it. Of course there are those who beleive but give not take. All charities are 'taking' no matter the face they show the public. The McCann appeal has lined some firms pockets. They are run by money siphoning CEOs and immediate underlings.
Consider that Arthur Conan Doyle went to many seances as a believer {Houdini did also to expose them] Doyle also was convinced Fairies existed. Remember his Sherlock Holmes phrases.
Regarding this series I have only watched the first episode. Never overly impressed with Nesbit other than the fact he is fellow countryman who is doing well for himself and gets a lot of work. The Deep with Minnie Driver regarded quite poorly and I felt it a bit forced. James may need this as it seems he is going through a [surely costly] life change. What is with PADDY's and fame?
I do feel though that the acting emotion required here of abduction realisation might never seem real.

Re: Madeleine McCann
Definitely. The couple are dead ringers for Gerry and Kate.
Re: Madeleine McCann
not really the leading lady is beautiful more so than dr mcgann
Re: Madeleine McCann
The first season clearly is, except that instead of losing sight of their daughter, the McCanns left her and her toddler siblings unaccompanied. Still a tragic situation no matter what.
Madeleine McCann
I watched the first episode last night, I missed the beginning though. But I read the plot, and by what I saw so far it reminds me of the actual case. Althoug obviously they changed it from girl to boy, and the place of abduction is France and not Prtugal.
