Yes but Obama did make it 1000 times worse.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

Obama didn't really stop it, but I doubt he started it either. As soon as Obama became the nominee, the media acted like everyone who didn't support Obama was racist. Then they kept reporting on race for 8 years, making everything so much worse.
