Fess Parker : What a decent man! G*d bless him!

Fess Parker will always be in my top Dozen Favorite Actors of all times just because He was a Christian Conservative first, and then also because he was a great actor. I admire him very much, as an exemplary man in matters of family, business and politics. If you or I can be half the man he was, then we deserve to be called decent men too, for Fess Parker Jr was indeed a decent man whom I will always respect. Not even John Wayne was as good a Davy Crockett in "The Alamo". Nobody will ever equal his portrayal of Daniel Boone.

G*d bless his whole family. May they all be at least half the decent person he was!

I've never heard him mention his political views, but agree that he was a gentleman who is dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many fans. I understand that he did consider running for office as a Republican. I hold Fess Parker in high regard, as I do Russell Johnson, a lifelong Democrat, war hero, patriot, and honorable man.

A great actor that will always have a special place in my heart growing up watching him and then meeting him years later it was a grda0eat honor to know him God bless him!!!

I could tell even from his acting he was a good decent man.Ive always liked him.
