Hazel O'Connor : can you remember?

I can remember hazel acting in a series that was aired in the children's slot between 4pm and 5.30. I don't seem to recognize it from the list on her profile. The most memorable moment (for me) was when she dressed as a "St. Trinians" style schoolgirl and sang a song at a club. The content of the series was quite 'grown up' for children's hour and yes she was very sexy!

Does anyone else remember this and if they do, what was the show called?

yes i think it must be this show. On fandango it lists it as being shown in 1985 which is too late as i remember seeing it at my parents house and by 1985 i had moved out - on imdb it says 1982 which would right i think. Do you remember actually seeing the scene? Very memorable for me but not sure that it was that appropriate for a pre teen audience - perhaps it with be repeated one day and i can watch it again and see if my memory has been playing tricks on me!

thanks for the links. but no its not the scene - in the performance that i remember (although it is 26 years ago) Hazel is on stage (alone i think) wearing a schoolgirl's uniform and bending a crooked handled school cane. Ib68 guess the song must have been something to do with school? It was on during what was known then as 'children's hour' but i think might have appealed to an older audience! Someone somewhere will probably have it on video (up in the loft) and possibly it will appear on Youtube one day - when i see it no doubt it will be completely different to how i remember it!

YES I KNOW!!!!, For certain!! and I am 100 percent sure of this: the show was called "Jangles" and I remember it very well.. I think the song she sang was a cover of the Alice Cooper song "Schools Out" although I am not 100% of the song title? It may have been something different, but the TV show was DEFINITELY "Jangles", and, God I wish I'd had a video recorder in those days to have taped it!!

thanks for posting! I'm glad someone else saw this, i was beginning to think it was some adolescent fantasy that i had years ago and after all these years had a 'false memory' of the scene. From my memory, which is i have to admit a bit hazy - i think Hazel's performance was aimed at a much more mature audience than the 9 - 13 year olds that it was broadcast to. I guess most of them didn't really appreciate it! hopefully it will come to light again in the future and we can find out what song it was and if she was as sexy as i remember (hope so!).

I remember her dressed as a St Trinians girl in a one off BBC play called Blore MP in 1989. She played a prostitute who got involved with an MP played by Timothy West. I have this on VHS somewhere.
