The imbalance of this deal is staggering and I have no doubt that every country in the world is now trying to figure out what tidbits it can give to Trump and his business in exchange for the huge concessions they want. Report: Trump considering Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria for ambassador to France

Miami Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria reportedly could sell the team, and if he does, it looks like he won't be bored without his baseball club.

The New York Post reported Wednesday that the 76-year-old art dealer is under consideration for a role in the Trump administration as U.S. ambassador to France. White House chief of staff Reince Priebus is lobbying for Loria to land the post, per the report.

Loria has been linked to President Donald Trump in another way recently.


The New York Times reported last week that Loria is in talks to sell the baseball club to a group that includes Joshua Kushner, the brother of Jared Kushner. Jared, of course, is married to Ivanka Trump and also serves as the President's top adviser.

But that's not all.

Loria, along with his wife, Julie, donated $250,000 to the Trump PAC during the campaign.

A month ago you said Trump was evil incarnate for taking a phone call from Taiwan.

Trump got the PRC really nervous right out the gate and then later acknowledged the policy while he's cleaning up all the snowflakes back home to buy some time. I don't think the Chinese should sleep easy at night just yet. Just because he acknowledges it, doesn't mean he's not going to take a page out of the Chinese handbook. Say something now and then do the exact opposite later. Trump has 4-8 years to flip-flop on the policy. He can weaponize the policy, something that Obama didn't know how to do and the PRC walked all over him.

Trump is finally going to put America on the comedy map.

Two things that are true:

1. The "One China" policy is the only practical and viable policy for this country. That ship sailed so long ago that there were guys below decks rowing. He should never had mentioned it in the first place, showing that he had pretty much no knowledge of what it meant until he f^cked it up and had to backtrack.

2. Trump's massive international business dealings make it impossible for him not to be in gross violation of the Constitution every day. At the very least he should have refused the Chinese ruling on his trademark on principle, and yes I am laughing as I type that.

That's why the presidential election was so important. IMO the liberals upset the separation of powers and act like super legislators, superior to the other branches. President Trump works for him now. And President Trump will go along with whatever Speaker Ryan and Senate Majority Leader McConnell send him or they will give the office of the Presidency to VP Pence. Whom they prefer anyway.
