Putin was openly critical of Hillary Clinton's comments in 2011 about Putin rigging elections.

It's called spreading disinformation. How many people came to this board with all the DNCs leaks hoping to discredit Clinton? Few, if any, were swayed here, but in the final days of the campaigns, how many swing voters did all the negative press put into Trump's camp? Probably just enough to get Trump the needed votes in the critical states.

That said, I don't think Russian hacks themselves caused an illegal election. If the voters couldn't tell the difference between Clinton praising Goldman Sachs and Trump's umpteen crooked business deals, then the onus is on those dumbasses. Even so, if Trump's people were knowledgeable of Russian hacks sending damning info to Wikileaks, that means they are not to be trusted regarding just about anything. They've put loyalty to one man above their country.

And if his people were making promises to Putin over lifting sanctions or oil leases or whatever, then they are worse than anything you could possibly accuse Clinton of. Conway said on air that Flynn, even after Trump knew the CIA had the goods on him about playing sanctions footsie with the Russian ambassador, was above reproach because, "The president chose him, and [Flynn] was very loyal."

So if Flynn was so loyal, then he would not have gone behind Trump's back without his permission. Trump sent Flynn to assure Putin the US would be giving him what he wanted before Trump was sworn in as president and while Flynn was not an official representative of this nation.

Disinformation from the DNC leaks? It's seems to me that information leaked was accurate. Russia didn't force the DNC to be corrupt. As far as I'm concernced the American voter had the right the know. Just like they have the right to know what Flynn was doing regarding the Russia and sanctions.

So if Russia hacked the DNC, the DNC should do two things: beef up their cyber security and stop giving people reason for thinking that they are corrupt.

No one is claiming Russia rigged the actual electionFOCUS..(.though Trump and company is claiming the DNC rigged it against him and with equally zero proof)but that Russia leaked the DNC emails that painted the DNC and Hillary in a bad light. If you read thru them, those emails show a typical campaign with some mild dirty tricks that were never acted upon. With the election so close, this may have cause some potential Clinton voters to either go over to Trump or stay home. That the Russians might have swayed public opinion and the election in Trump's favor is not illegal. However. Hacking a political party's email server to obtain that the swaying was done with is. And even if the leaks had no effect (which it can't be proven if the did) IT'S STILL ILLEGAL and not a good thing for America.

If Trump knew they were doing it and said nothing, you think that's okay? If he knew or possibly asked Putin to help him with the hacking and leaksremember his faux pas about asking them to "find Hillary's emails?
