House of Cards : Where is Doug going?

Season 4 finale Frank tells Doug to take as much time as required, then Doug feels the need to meet the liver donor's wife before he leaves. Where is he going, to tie some loose ends?

He has been obsessed with this woman. I was thinking that his sole aim was to be with her, but you are probably right. I love his character. I'm waiting anxiously for the next season.

Lol idk why everyone thinks thats what he is going for. Remy and jackie already gave their statements and there's a timeline like hammershmidt (?) says so if doug makes these members disappear or 'offs' them, it would just become more obvious what frank did so yeah cant/wont happen

As we have seen in previous seasons, there are many ways to destroy someone, I hope they find a way to cover their tracks and get revenge from Jacky and Remy.

Its Remie and Jackie who are departing for parts unknown for awhile. In the car he asks where she wants to go and she says something like surprise me. They don't intend to answer any telephone calls from lazy reporters chasing them for material.

Jackie and Remy giving their statements may have protected them from being killed because of the reason you stated, it would be obvious Frank ordered that. Some people think talking to the press is what kept those who knew about the Monica Lewinsky/Bill Clinton scandal alive.

I would like to know that also, just rewatched Season 4 and I don't get it. They are saying there is nothing to be done about Jackie and Remy.I don't understand what Doug could have done.

I think he meant he couldnt be there to see the execution as maybe relapse on drinking / ptsd.
