Re: RIP Admiral Motti :(
I found his lack of faith disturbing.
Re: RIP Admiral Motti :(
Rest in peace, Mr. LeParmentier.
What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

Friends, I met the man at the San Diego comic-con in 2001. Or maybe it was 2002. I can't really recall. Got his autograph, and got a photo of him that is now on my facebook page. I'll try to link it below. Don't know if IMDB will allow it. Great guy. Notice the pendant he's wearing?

Classic Star Wars scene is worth another viewing.

Re: RIP Admiral Motti :(
I just saw him over a week ago (Sunday, April 7) at ComiCon in Kansas City. He was sitting at his table (for autographs) with his two young assistants, chatting and se5b4eming to be in a good mood. I wish I had approached him (I snapped his photo when he was unaware)but he didn't look too healthy- he was somewhat overweight and pale. RIP- he made an impact with his scene in SW.

Re: RIP Admiral Motti :(
Because Star Wars is such a big part of my life, the passing of any of the actors feels almost like a loss in the family. This man is immortalized as the Imperial officer who dared make effort to belittle Darth Vader among his peers, and he survived the encounter.
From what I've read on him, in real life he was a good guy. My heart is with his friends and family as they mourn his passing.

Re: RIP Admiral Motti :(
R.I.P. Richard. Was very popular for all fans at Star Wars conventions. I saw him at a few in many years such as Memarobillia Birmingham, Space Centre Leicester, Celebration Europe London. Was shocked to hear he passed away and sad but will have happy memories of him signing at conventions. I read he was in Texas at the time with family when he passed away. He was attending a convention in Kansas Comic Con, USA a week before.

Rest in piece Richard.
Part of the first scene ever that the Force was used, and we all learned how powerful Vader really was.

Re: RIP Admiral Motti :(
This is so sad.I met him in May 2011 at the Dallas Comicon and yes he did sign the famous pic of his choking scene for me.
He also wrote on it "Mike The Force Works" and drew an arrow pointing to the death star and wrote "My Office" .. He was a very charming and funny guy and warmly shook my hand when I walked up to his table.
I only wish I had asked him to take a picture with me. I will always have that fond memory of him.
Here's a link to a snapshot of the photo he autographed for me in May 2011 at the Dallas Comicon in Irving Texas. Thank you Richard for the wonderful memory, be at peace.

Big Whiskers, I know you posted 2 years ago, just wanted to say I loved Richard's autograph with the arrow he wrote to his office. Really funny! Thanks for sharing that and for keeping it up on photobucket.
