Hans Howes : Great in 'There Will Be Blood'

Mr. Howes has made a wonderful presence w/ his brief but significant role. Accolades to you, sir!

I agree! I found DDL's performance far too over the top. But that scene where Hans Howes wakes him up and Hans is so natural and honest and WOW! And he's talking to this cartoon character. It totally blew me away. Must be hard to commit to that level of honesty in a scene with someone with "all that" going on. Like Ruby Dee in AMERICAN GANGSTER. A real stand out! Great job!

Yeah, I was taken by his role. A job well done.

He was good but I think most of the praise should go to Kevin J O'Connor who played Henry. It was a much more complex role but almost as small as Hans' role yet he played it to perfection
