For those who doubt of Gad being jewish because he's born in Morocco, here's a little bit of History for you.
Gad is a sephardic jew, wich means his ancesters lived in spain in the early medieval times, during the moor occupation, before being exiled due to the reconquista and the spanish inquisition that ensued.
Some of the sephardic jews found a new home across the sea in the kingdom of Morocco, who would later become a french colony for a century.
That's why Gad is born in Casablanca, Morocco, and that's also why he's Jewish and speaks French.
