this man is one of the funniest french comedians ever.
luckily for me i speak french, so i can understand his shows, but yea, he's awesome! :)
honestly, if you can speak french, i recommend strongly his "l'autre c'est moi" show. it is awesome.

I just saw La Doublure on an Air France flight. My sister speaks French, but, alas, I do not, so I was lucky there were subtitles. I watched it three times in a row. It was wonderful.

and ive watched "l'autre c'est moi" at least 12 times in a row !!!!!!!
he's amazing !!!!!!!!! but those who dont speak french cannot understand some of the jokes like the one with the english lessons too bad for them =]

I haven't seen La Doublure or Hors de Prix. I doubt they'll come out in the US anytime soon. I love Gad though. I've only seen his stand-up on youtube and dailymotion since they weren't even available on Amazon last I checked. I translated some of his sketches for my family and they enjoy it, but there is something lost in translation unfortunately. I love the Cigarette sketch! If you haven't seen it, search for gad on dailymotion, it has a 45-min long report from French tv all about him. It's fantastic.

His last stand-up show is on Amazon. It's called L'autre c'est moi. But, unfortunatley his 1st 2 stand -up are not on Amazon. I've seen them in France and they were great!
