He's one of those actors who was always working, so he was on tv almost constantly. A very familiar face from my childhood and beyond.

Yes,it seems that there were almost no British movies or TV shows,particularly in the 60s and 70s that did not feature him.He was always great value and was memorable in the smallest role.
