Captain America: The Winter Soldier : What did you think of the villain Alexander Pierce?

I often hear that MCU villains are weak, with the exception of Loki, which is something I kind of agree on. However; I hardly hear people talk about Alexander Pierce: the main who secretly tried to get Nick Fury assassinated. What did you guys think of him?

IMO he's one of Marvel's best, not just because he was played by the great Robert Redford, but also because he had enough story and depth to make him interesting and not one-dimensional.

Yeah, he's a good villain. Sometimes it's hard to flesh out a villain when you can only do so much in two hours, but Marvel did a good job.

I really liked the Red Skull, it's too bad they killed him off in his first MCU appearance.
