Cuckoo : False Alarm. Repeat, false alarm. No Second Coming

Just finished Season 2. Luv the Christmas epi. Lot of clever stuff. Taylor Lautner is great! The whole cast is quite good. Funny show. I'm starting S3 right now!!

The show takes such a weird turn in season 2, I don't think I can do it anymore. Everything is so awkward and cringeworthy. Cuckoo dies so they bring his illegitimate son in as the new love interest (um ew) and even though the daughter is already spoken for she suddenly decides (with the encouragement of her mom- weird and creepy) that she is destined to be with the son of her presumably deceased ex husband.

it's just too freaking weird, and there are not enough actual funny moments. The first season wasn't amazing, but it was watchable and had some redeeming qualities. the love hate relationship between dad and cuckoo was dynamic and added humor and heart to the show.

Season two is just painful to watch, right down to the new lead actress's one brown tooth.

Series 1 was ruined by Samberg. He really just ruined it. I stopped watching after a couple of EPISODES and started again on series 2 ep 1
