Raymond Allen : Where is Raymond Allen?

Where is Raymond Allen?

What ever happened to Merl the Earl? How about the Cool Cars he had at his shop in Starsky and Hutch? Nice interior work to Hutch's LTD...

Re: Where is Raymond Allen?

If he is still alive, he has to be in his 80's or 90's. If anyone can come up with anything about him, please post!

Re: Where is Raymond Allen?

He always look younger than LaWanda Page (born 1920) and Redd Foxx (born 1922)..he could be in his 70s..

Re: Post the pics

Great! When will you post them?

Re: Post the pics

I will try to do it today, I have the pics of him, however I am somewhat new to IMDB so if you would provide me with your email address I will send them to you, and from there you may post them if you wish to.

Thanks.

Re: Post the pics

Sure....can't wait to see them!

Re: Post the pics

Hope you all realize that posting your email addresses on forums like this is never smart. PPL could easily start to send you spam mail. That is why I already made a personal comment to this so-called grandson. If he is who he claims to be then he should not have a problem posting the pics himself on here (IMDB is not that difficult...it walks u through what to do) and it would have been nice if he posted the myspace prior to all his grandstanding for email addresses.

Re: Where is Raymond Allen?

A post on the "Sanford & Son" message board says that he literally disappeared in 1980. He left his apartment and was never seen again. However, there was no supporting or corroborating information, so I can't attest to the accuracy.

Re: Where is Raymond Allen?

myspace.com/raymondgallen is his official website!

HE is still alive...born Mar. 5. 1929..78 yrs. old.

Re: Where is Raymond Allen?

Great to hear he is well...the fans still remember.

" Your right to free speech ends at my property line "

Re: Where is Raymond Allen?

Loved Raymond as Ned The Wino in Good Times - the episode where Florida cleans him up and wins the contest is my alltime favorite

Re: Where is Raymond Allen?

I like that GT episode too. Especially the part about drinking the fish water. Notice that snooty lady they were trying to hide him from is the exact same lady Fred and Esther were trying to hide him from during the Sanford and Son adoption episode.

That man was hilarious. For TV drunks, I rank him up there in the top three with Hal "Otis" Smith and James Nusser (Louie from Gunsmoke).

Much respect Raymond!
