Because he wants peace with Russia and a less hawkish foreign policy overall. There are other reasons too, of course, but that's the big one. The MIC (military industrial complex) prefers presidents that are reliably hawkish; the last non-hawkish president we had was Jimmy Carter and he got trounced in 1980. Eisenhower warned America about the corrupt power of the MIC and it's easy to see why.

When it comes to the subject of "being sore losers", Trump supporters are the last people that should be talking.
After Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 Presidential Election, Democrats didn't do after it what Donald Trump supporters did after Trump lost the 2020 Presidential Election which was attack the U.S. Capitol (except in the minds of the people who believe the complete BS that Trump and Tucker Carlson said about the people who attacked the Capitol having not really attacked it, that everything that was said about them attacking it were lies, that they were let into the Capitol by the Police, and that think that that clearly edited video that Tucker Carlson showed on his show (before he deserving got fired by FOX NEWS) is actually legit when there in reality is a multiple freaking amount of footage showing them literally breaking windows to get inside of the building, of them climbing through broken windows and going inside of the building, of them stealing property, of them breaking property, of them attacking Police Officers and members of the Media, and of them breaking cameras and equipment that the Media had with them there outside of the building during the attack. The amount of footage that there is of all of that is literally in the high double digits).
