Antonio Banderas : lazy actor he's a great actor all you have to do is watch him on genius: picasso

to find this out but 90% of everything he's been in is fluff trash movies in which he plays down to the process of choosing the role which is usually an action movie role. so he contributes to his type casting and doesn't use his tremendous acting abilities and talents in movies 90% of the time.

watching him on the tv show genius: picasso totally proves without a doubt that he is a great actor. but it take this and mambo kings for you to know this and have evidence of this bc they have to go against all the bad, mediocre roles which do nothing to give him credit as an actor. these bad roles don't require any acting chops and any acting ability or talent. and they are cheesy roles and cheesy action movies. so he needs to act in good movies that show his great acting chops.

i wish he would act in great roles in great films more often than he does.

Maybe he’s all about the money. I’m sure those commercial fluff movies have paid him a lot.

When he was an unknown and he was doing the Almodóvar movies he probably just wanted fame and he got it thanks to Madonna and later Melanie Griffith.
