Lori Martin : I think I am in love!

Lori Martin is three years older than my mother! She looked so cute and sweet in Cape Fear(the Peck one). Martin/Dawn Menzer looks so "nice" bowling in a T shirt and short shorts!

The Cape Fear DVD has a featurette with Gregory Peck. He claims that Lori Martin kissed him during the making of the film! I am dying of jealousy!

She was hot...four years before i was born!

There was a TV show version of National Velvet in 1960. Lori Martin may have been cast due to her resemblance to Elizabeth Taylor.

Lori Martin/Dawn Menzer had a wide acting range. On the National Velvet TV show, her character was good...enough. On an episode of The Donna Reed Show, she played a femme fatale who competed with another girl for a handsome boy.

Did you ever see 1968's "The Angry Breed," reportedly a trashy biker flick? It was Lori's last film, shot when she was 20. She only had a few TV gigs after that before bowing out of acting altogether and marrying a guy 20 years her senior (not that there's anything wrong with that). I haven't seen "The Angry Breed," but one reviewer said she appears in a bathing suit. Someone posted (and deleted) that Lori was "chunky" in her bathing suit scene in "The Angry Breed," but I read differently in a review, which said she looked curvaceous and sexy. Whoever posted that comment likely prefers skinny women. There's nothing wrong with that, but I prefer shapely, sexy whoa-men to those who starve themselves and essentially have the shape of a 10 year-old boy.

I have viewed the filme online and Lori looked perfect in the bikini she wore. Yo me, she had the perfect body for a bikini. I not a fan of women who are considered real shapely, but to me the reviewer must have been confused with another film. She in no way looks chunky. I wish she had done more movies where she wore a bikini.
