Economics, Business, Money, Finance : Has anyone ever done a college “boot camp”?

I was looking at 6 month boot camps for cyber security and IT development. It costs 10k and at the end they give you a voucher to take a certification exam.

Has anyone here heard of someone doing this and being successful in finding employment? Is it just a waste of money in a saturated job field?

Lots of people have done those and found jobs but it depends on which one you attend.
