The Last of Us : Heartwarming third episode

If you are upset that this happened instead of the angry game story, you need to look inward and figure out why that is.

I’ve never seen an apocalyptic story illustrate just how heartbreakingly beautiful humanity can become when the world “dies”. This was an amazing episode and only faggots and Jews disagree.

i can't comprehend why everyone has their panties in a twist. it didn't even change anything about the story as a whole, bill was a section of the game and at the end joel and ellie just leave, you never even see or hear about bill again. at least they ended bill and frank's story and gave them a happy ending. i couldn't give two shits if we didn't see a bloater in that episode, it'll prob just happen in the next one.

Not only have I never played it, I had no idea the show was based on a game until I saw posters here mentioning it after I saw the first ep.

Seems like those who have played and comment are expecting a 100% shot for shot and word for word carbon copy of what they experienced in the game.
Not seeing what they expect makes them seem disappointed.

Which I think helps viewers like us because we have nothing to compare it to and therefore we are not disappointed.
We can be more accepting of what we get.
In retrospect it was nice to take a breather from the action, running and killing of the infected.

Imagine Game of Thrones decided the audience wanted a breather from the story just 3 episodes in and chose to focus on a couple living their lives together, then at the end they die and Arya and The Hound just stop by and take their stuff so that the episode’s still kind of relevant.
