The Grinch and Wolf Creek. I've seen movies in the theater that are much worse than those, but the theater experiences salvaged them. With these, I was constantly either annoyed or checking my watch.

This one's in my wheelhouse. It's Tarzan the Ape Man (1981) and it's not even close.
We even stood in line for this atrocity there was some buzz over it before people actually started seeing it. One of the few films where I experienced the audience laughing at the film for long stretches.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop. That was a bad random choice of film to watch.
Though the film I found least enjoyable at the cinema was probably the first Avengers film, which fell way short of my already low expectations.

The Lobster, and Die Hard 5 are the only films I've walked out of, so they get my vote.

The 2012 version of Les Miserables and Batman vs Superman were both movies I regret spending money on.

Some scifi horror movie in the early nineties? The premise is the alien chopping off heads and becoming the person. There was practically no beginning, middle or end. Except that the big SHOCKING moment was where the alien chopped the head off a black man and became black, then the movie ended.

I walked out of The Family Man with Nicholas Cage and Armageddon I wish I'd walked out on but it was a date flick.

Probably Phantoms, which I saw on a $2 Tuesday deal at a second-run theatre (which is now a parking lot) in the late 90s. Almost as upsetting was the fact that they refused to give me back my two bucks even after I walked out an hour into that piece of crap.

I knew "Catwoman" would be a really bad movie but not "The Tuxedo".
