Halloween Ends : Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

I watched the movie.

So Laurie finally kills Michael. Does anyone care anymore? We were promised that back with Halloween H20.

It sucks. The ending fight should've been longer between Laurie and Michael. He got stuck to the kitchen counter like a high school biology project. That was gay as fuck.

Then I'll huff… and I'll puff
And I'll blow you the fuck away

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

This story was the best, just wasn’t executed well as trilogy.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

I still haven't seen the Movie yet but I have heard that they pulled a weird twist in it.

I heard that they actually pulled a "Friday The 13th: Part V - A New Beginning" type of twist in the Movie and that the killer was actually somebody else.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

Pretty sure that's H20

Grade "A" Fully Loaded
"Sexy as Hell"

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

There was another killer. The guy and Michael were killing TOGETHER and it was absurd lmao.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

It was so bad. Half of the movie was a weird love story and the other half was about killer besties. Michael was a sewer rat for 4 years LOL.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

The Cory actor reminded me so much of Michael Rooker. A decent movie but the lack of the theme song really sucked; only in the credits was it played. I knew they'd make use of that garage crusher when I first saw it. 5 out of 10.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

They used the song before the credits and during.

The beginning made my mouth drop because I thought it was going to go a different way.

The kitchen scene was the best part imo.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

2018 was good. Best one since H20. Gave me up when I heard the 2018 team was making a trilogy, but the ladt 2 are pure trash. Made-for-tv amateur garbage.

This movie was incoherent. Halloween Kills was garbage, but this was pure gibberish.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

It does feel made-for-tv. I'll give you that. There are no expensive set pieces like in Kills like the hospital mob, or firefighter fight, or even creative death scenes. Maybe they're saving the budget for the big fight? No, that was cheap too.

I think a certain group of people will rate it negatively because they expected a slasher film with Michael kills but instead got a drama/character study.

I'll take a tragic character study any day.

It's not a bad movie. It needs to be 3 hours long and the story needs to be fleshed out. Corey's death should take place in the middle of the film. Then rebuild the tension again with Michael, adding another hour to the run time. The 3rd act came too fast when we were still pondering what was happening in the 2nd.

"It's not a bad movie"

No, it is.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

The final fight was the epitome of anticlimactic not only because the fight itself was, but because Michael just shows up. Makes no sense. Pass the torch to a new guy, he dies, BAM, Michael is back after not being in 98% of the movie. Garbage.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

It was already known Michael was following Corey around during his kills, as shown in the doctor, secretary, and DJ scenes. At this point it's a established that Michael was in close proximity to where Corey was, so it's not that he just happens to be there.

Michael didn't care about Laurie. He was there because Corey was there.

I agree that the fight should not have started here.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

Nobody watching this movie cares about Cory, but Michael does? Get the fuck out of here.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

Nobody watching this movie cares about Cory, but Michael does?

I thought it was a pretty decent entry and focused more on atmosphere, story and some interesting psychological aspects regarding Corey and his state of mind.

I felt bad for him. It wasn't his fault and he had to live with the situation he was faced with, which would have been a very hard thing to do, especially in the eyes of bunch of asshole townsfolk.

He was a broken young man, cruelly condemned and was ripe for evil to take a hold of him, especially in a town like Haddonfield.

Norman! What did you put in my tea?

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

I kind of felt like bringing Laurie back killed the series. She's boring and I don't care.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

The last movie was so ridiculous that I turned it off halfway through.

One word: Money

If we take the time to see with the heart and not with the mind, we shall see that we are surrounded completely by angels ~ Carlos Santana

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

It didn't in H20 or 2018, but I don't know what the fuck they were thinking in the ladt 2. JLC should be embarrassed by those performances.

Re: Well, it sucks *Spoilers*

No shit. Saying this movie sucked is like pointing out that Wesley Snipes is black. Ya think??? I would've never known!
