He went to a great hospital afterwards that cleaned him up.

Bad Psychiatrists are glorified drug dealers. That muthaphkr was taking so many psych meds in addition to diabetes type 1, and all his other drug and alchy addictions.

The doctors were freaked out by how many drugs he was prescribed. No doubt there was an inquiry on that doc.

I talked to him yesterday. Great conversation even he was wasted but at least he's just drinking beer supposedly.

Depending on how much stuff you have, how to ship it and where you are that could get really costly and could take years for one to break even.

but produce and groceries and rent have absolutely skyrocketed

i lucked out bc i found a place that’s only $1000/month including electricity and laundry units in the bathroom + free parking but it’s a tiny apartment. if i found something like this anywhere else or closer to the city i’d be paying close to triple that

and i’m salaried at 48K/year so i definitely can afford better but convenience always wins tbh

I think minimum wage in Texas is like $7.25 an hour .
Of course there's a value difference between $🇺🇲 and $🇨🇦.

Though NObody pays that because they know that nobody would work for it. not even high school kids.

However I believe servers are now getting minimum wage which is way better than $3.25 or whatever they were making before. Of course their tips make up for their low wage.

Most lower wage jobs start off around $11.


That's cool that you found a decent valued spot. Doesn't sound bad.

McDonald's needs to stop pretending they sell ice cream since they can never produce it. Just get it off the menu already.

I'm about to rent out a room in my house for $950/month. I have two spare bedrooms and can bring in some passive income if I take in a boarder. I can't imagine being able to live on that to pay for all your expenses each month though. Right now you can't even get a one bedroom apartment for less than $1700/month here.

My monthly cost for a rather big house with a pool not far from the beach is 600 dollars a month.

But then again I have no mortgage and only pay electrical, water and internet bills. Insurance is like 40 a month too.

Same (almost). No mortgage and so I just pay the bills (which are only a couple of hundred a month) but my apartment is in an old Mediterranean city.

There are far worse places to live than a Mediterranean city. Jealous! Although it’s not bad where I live :) and southern Sweden has almost had Mediterranean climate these last years.

My flat in London was almost £2k per month for a single bed and that's standard there. General living costs in the uk aren't a million miles from that, at least in the decent cities. And I think over in Ireland Dublin is even worse than London.

I often wonder how people on here survive. Lots of government and parents handouts I presume

I do pretty well in Sunderland. I own a chain of Mexican food restaurants that my parents were going to start but abandoned. Today they know of my success and are jealous of me

I employ about a thousand people.

I've seen very lovely homes for $60,000 or less on property for sale in Arkansas and the Carolinas. If I could buy any of those I could be living well under $1000.00 a month. I currently pay $1500.00 now for a place in So Cal. :(

$1500 sounds pretty cheap.
