I was actually just thinking about them yesterday. I quoted them in some post to TaraDeS. I won’t ever forget about them because Roger Daltry was great in the Highlander series in a number of guest appearances.

Most of Lauper's songs from her solo albums are covers, and written by males, including Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - she co-wrote a lot of the stuff when she started out in her Rockabilly band, Blue Angel, in 1980 and I prefer those songs, but most people don't really know her from those years and there are only like two covers on YouTube that Blue Angel did. Though I wish there were more.
That's why I didn't make a Cyndi Lauper thread on covers, since the ones most know from her are covers themselves, other than She Bop and Witness
