Danny Trejo : As he ever been in a dramatic part?

As he ever been in a dramatic part?

I know, he is a character actor, the mean looking Mexican dude you don't want to mess with.

But I was wondering if he ever was in a totally different type of part.

If not, I strongly believe he could be awesome in a different type of character, more dramatic.

Re: As he ever been in a dramatic part?

He gave a serious speech to Ron Bugundy in Anchorman

Re: As he ever been in a dramatic part?

One movie I think he shoulda been in was My Family/Mi Familia. He would've been great if he signed up for it.

The Good the Bad and the Ugly is the greatest movie ever made

Re: As he ever been in a dramatic part?

Couldn't agree more, bxbombshell27. He could have done Eddie Olmos' part (or any other) to perfection.

Don't any of you guys watch "Bones?" He played a bishop on one episode. Not exactly a dramatic breakthrough, but certainly different. I, too, would LOVE to see him in a non-typical role, though he shone so brightly in Machete.

He plays a (small) different type of part in Heat. Pretty quiet and reserved.
