I never saw it. I have only seen Mad Max and my personal favorite, the second one… Road Warrior. I'd have to see Fury Road in order to agree with you, but from your description, i doubt I'd care for it…

Dude, this movie is literally taught in film schools all across the planet as an exercise in excellence as far as filming action sequences goes. It isn't about story, it is pure cinema.

I think I can say with great confidence that the majority of intelligent, informed students of film (you are obviously not a member of this set) would agree that if a film is widely taught around the world in film schools, its director did something right and admirable and the professors who teach the film probably know a thing or two more than the film's idiot detractors.

I honestly don’t believe you that this disposable movie is “taught around the world in film schools,” I’m sure there is one or two professors somewhere that probably show it to their class because they are lazy and need to grab the attention of the kidz but otherwise I think you’re full of it(btw I studied film).

I just watched it to see what the fuss was all about.
Not that I regret it.
Just was expecting something better to live up to the orig. or the hype it got.

Just all action with no substance, no plot, no back stories etc. to get me to care about the characters.
