on them on blu ray compared to vhs tape: do you agree with me on this, that you dont want to take away the feelings and atmosphere and ways they became memorable memories by having them cleaned up visually and auditorily?tacky cellphones in movies are just tacky and are misused in movies almost always, they stick out like a sore thumb and almost always take you out of a moment in a movie bc then it's about the technology and not the situation and the people in a scene.also lets be serious if movies reflected cell phone reality they would have to be in vey person's hand at every moment of every day and that would get boring very fast it would only work if it was like 1 minute or less of a movie.but then it would be realistic anyway bc in real life everyone has it on them always so therefore i submit they should never be used in a movie bc they dont make sense in a movie.i checked out interest in movies around 2000. and havent' looked back, haven't gone back to the '90s interest since. also movie quality went down tremendously from 2000 to 2010 and even went down from 2010 to 2022.though i loved loved jason x made in 2000 but released in 2002. saw it in a theater then. it's amazingly and epically great. it had everything except the camp sites, forest, camping, and country landscapes, environment, and the same music and atmosphere the old '80s f the 13th films have but it was set in space and it has stupid uber jason.what i loved about it more than anything is the director jim isaac made sure to make it the most '80s feeling f the 13th slasher movie made since the '80s and he succeeded. the only film made since 1991 (critters 3) that feels as '80s f the 13th than jason x is the film mentioned to you, lumberjack man. i will defend jason x the rest of my life as a film that is essential to the friday the 13th film universe and that is a respecting and respectable loving tribute to the '80s friday the 13th films.did you love it as much i did when you first watched it? i was very skeptical when i first heard about it, jason in space? really didn't sound like it would work but it did work very well.exactly if i watch a movie nowadays i want it to be set in the '90s or before, sadly everything post cell phones suck.exactly im the same way everything in the world after 1999 has sucked. movies, tv shows, toys, cartoons, commercials, music, etc.what about the friday 13th on vhs is more fun than on blu ray? the graininess bc it reminds you of watching these films in the '80s and '90s? nostalgia? or maybe bc that the way they were made and meant to look>?ah looks like we are very similar in how much we love the '80s friday the 13th films compared to each other. our order is very similar.you go 2, 1, 4, 3 i go 4, 3 2, 1. very similar. then you go 5, 8, i go 5, 6, you go 6, 7 i go 7, 8, then 9 like you. very cool.
