Eh, if it’s a place where banning is rampant then I probably wouldn’t fit in anyways. I’ve never been one to ban or ignore posts or posters since I can’t ever seem to get upset about some words posted anonymously on a message board lol.

yeah i've been banned on imdb2 two times thus far myself, bc i started call out threads each of those times lol one for gwnyc and one for Pinky 😝 but Carter lifted my bans shortly after bc he likes me and now i'm behaving. 😁 i'm pretty much only there for film related discussions and keep out of any political or other heated arguments. there is still a lot of really great film discussions going on there with many really knowledgable film fans contributing, so i really wouldnt want to miss that tbh. thats why i keep a rather low profile now.

Even the offshoot boards don't have any traffic. That's one of the reasons I started posting on IMDb. I came from TCM boards, and they mentioned IMDb. I never got to post, so I forget because I tried several different times with whatever name I happened to think of at the time. I think the first one was Guthmugbulrug. I was approved, but when I eventually tried to log in the first time the top of the login page said “Hi Bom Tombadil” (which is my IMDB1 name) before I had even tried to log in. And the funny thing is I wasn’t actually logged in at all but it still had my name up there. I tried to log in and it kept saying some error message. I tried to log in with the Bom Tombadil name as well but that didn’t work either. It’s not a big deal. I guess.

I think it must be because I signed up for IMDB1 a while back and it must somehow be linked to v2, and so when I made a new username for IMDBv2, the login never worked because my IMDB1 name somehow became attached as well. So i tried a few different times using different email addresses but they all ended up not working. Maybe they thought I was trying to create a bunch of sock accounts or something.
