The Watercooler : Do you ever feel bad for those who die…

Do you ever feel bad for those who die…

… like right after Christmas?

Any time now we are probably going to get a news report, as we seemingly do every year, about a lot of deaths such as a car pile up, a mass shooting, a natural occurrence like a tornado or earthquake, a huge apt. building fire or something else that involves a lot of deaths.

I always think, "They didn't get a lot of time to enjoy their latest Christmas presents."

Just me or do those thoughts cross anyone else's mind?

I never considered the Christmas present angle before.

Re: Do you ever feel bad for those who die…

Of course! I feel bad when anyone dies, has bad luck… no matter what time of the year.
I also feel for the families… even the families of the ones who may have caused deaths. They have to be hurting too.
