Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

You have Autism.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

No, I don't, but what would that matter if I did?

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

No, you do have Autism. All of your posts are just another symptom of the disease.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

Why? Are you saying all autistic people are alike and they all like the same movies as me? That doesn't even make sense.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

What I'm trying to tell you is that you don't belong on filmboards. Take Kayla your crazy girlfriend, and scram.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I don't belong on filmboards because I post about films? Is that what you are saying? Why don't you answer the question that I originally posted and actually talk about films instead of random nonsense?

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

We don't discuss films on filmboards. Stupid!!

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

Get my damn name out your ****ing mouth SLUT. The only time you stop sucking on white dick is when you take a hit of you goddamn crack pipe.

You had to get between me and Allaby when it was none of your damn crack whore business

WE’RE THROUGH! FUCK YOU!!!

Sit on this bitch!

🖕

300lb and beautiful

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

LOL!

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

Orson,

You're a light skinned black woman chasing after Allaby's little white cock. Hypocrisy! And you're acting like a crack head more than I have ever.

I don't even know Allaby obviously. All I did was try making him feel comfortable here by being nice.
Maybe he flagged me as sexually harassing him? And what an asshole. I wasn't sexually harassing him. Not at one moment, have I written anything sexual to Allaby meant to entice Allaby sexually.

If he was turned on by me being nice, that's on him.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I haven't even heard of those movies. I think Breaking with Old Ideas and Sparkling Red Star might qualify as obscure movies I have seen. They're Chinese propaganda movies made during the tail end of the Cultural Revolution.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I haven't seen any of those.

Le Petomane (1979) is a short film about a man who is a flatulist!

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

So you are a fart lover.
Figures.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

Excellent thread idea!

I'm surprised that I haven't seen any of them, so good job on listing. Do you love all those movies? Any you would recommend to me?

Just a tip for others who can't think of any. I'll paste the link below

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

You are not that unique.
I have seen all those.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

Sophie's Place is really good, an unusual and surreal animated film. I rated it a 9/10 and would recommend checking it out. Empty Suitcases is another really interesting and original film, an 8/10. I am a Good Person/I Am a Bad Person is a very well made independent film about the relationship between a mother and daughter while touring film festivals. The director of the films plays the mother and her real life daughter plays the daughter. I rated it 8/10 and would recommend it. On your list, I have seen Cairo Station and liked it, rating it an 8/10.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I highly recommend Egyptian movies of that time. I know "Chit-chat On The Nile" is on archives, but you might have to find your own subtitles and sync them up.

Glad you saw "Cairo Station". I barely remember it, but I did give it an 8/10

The movies you listed seem a bit difficult to find. I have three laptops, and each one have their problems, so I try to find them on Comcast. I've had this year-long glitch with Prime. I don't pay them, and they'll allow me to not only watch their movies, but I'm still able to sign new subscriptions from their site, but the movies I've seen on there have been independent, but ****ty, but would like to see one.

P.S. - I only limited my search results to feature films since I'd have way too many to list otherwise.

Sophie's Place is on Youtube.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I just added this. I'll try to watch this today or tomorrow. Thanks!

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I use the Firefox add-on Video Downloadhelper but for some reason, that site makes it impossible to do so. My connection is too slow, and another problem with the laptop I'm currently on (Windows 7) is with the graphics card, and so if I have to use my POS Windows 10 laptop, it's only to download (and as another back-up drive) from, but sometimes the 720 doesn't work well, especially the mkv's. I think avi's are the best, but I'll try to find a way to check it out. I'd really like to see something great I haven't seen before. Thanks again!

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

You're welcome, Mort!

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I have heard only of "Cairo 30".

I have not seen any of the movies on your list.

I wonder if obscure animated short films count? I have watched a LOT of Russian animated shorts.

You win. Haven't heard of or seen any of 'em!

Mean people suck.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I thought of a few more that might possibly fit.

…and the Fifth Horseman Is Fear (1965)
Wifemistress (1977)
Los tallos amargos (1956)
Ditte, Child of Man (1946)
Once You Kiss a Stranger… (1969) – I only wish I remembered this!
House of Women (1962)
Let No Man Write My Epitaph (1960)
T.R. Baskin (1971)
One is a Lonely Number (1972) – loved this one!
Domenica d'agosto (1950)
Marvin & Tige (1983)
Who Saw Him Die? (1968)
Romeo, Julie a tma (1960)
Krane's Confectionery (1951)
A Man to Remember (1938)

O Quinto Macaco (1990) — very surprised this has less than 200 IMDB votes. Ben Kingsley stars.

Cool. I don't think I have seen any of those.

I'm surprised! I think "The Fifth Monkey" is on YouTube with Ben Kingsley.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I'll try to add a line to help you discern
(I've edited this every time I've remembered something, so just again if you're interested)

Wifemistress (1977) – eerie movie! Marcello Mastroianni
Los tallos amargos (1956) – also eerie, Argentine noir
Ditte, Child of Man (1946) - nice little movie, nothing special
Once You Kiss a Stranger… (1969) – I only wish I remembered this!
House of Women (1962)
Let No Man Write My Epitaph (1960)
T.R. Baskin (1971) - a young woman arrives in NYC.. Sex.. Probably Candice Bergen's first movie

One is a Lonely Number (1972) – loved this one! Narrative revolves around a woman, and she might even be narrating throughout the movie. Gave it a 10/10 but not sure if I want to see it again, possibly because I don't want to ruin my 10/10 :)

Domenica d'agosto (1950)
Marvin & Tige (1983) - John Cassavetes finds a suicidal 9-yr old at a park bench! I don't mind sentimentality.

Who Saw Him Die? (1968)
Romeo, Julie a tma (1960) - Local boy who is hiding a Jewish girl
Krane's Confectionery (1951) – really cool about a mother who decides to leave her family for fun!

A Man to Remember (1938) - sentimental movie, but nothing I'd rush to see.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I saw "Once You Kiss a Stranger" a long, long time ago. I remember liking it as a kid.

Other than that, I have only heard of "TR Baskin". Pauline Kael said that Bergen's performance as the title character was quite possibly the worst performance she had ever seen in a major film production. Her review was amusing. Kael went on to say that in an acting contest between Candace Bergen and Ali MacGraw, Ali MacGraw would win. That was funny.

Candace Bergen was in "The Group" (1966), so this wasn't her first film role.

Edit. I have definitely heard of the movie "Let No Man Write My Epitaph".

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

ah right, Sidney Lumet…. I tried watching that, but didn't have room, tried to watch "The Group", coudln't get into that. He made some good movies, though. But was yellow as a man from what I've heard.

I don't remember her performance being bad. It's not a great movie, I gave it a 7 or 7.5/10 because it was a little different.

McGraw usually seemed half-dead on the screen and has been ridiculed a lot, but off the camera, she's very pleasant and energetic. I'm especially thinking of this 11-hour documentary on Sam Peckinpah (Man of Iron).

Here's one full interview I loved

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I have seen both dubbed and original language versions of Wifemistress - that aired on HBO in the 80s, but is easy enough to obtain.

That is a good example of why dubbed movies suck…the dubbed version was exaggerated in scenes that were quite subtle with the original language.

I've seen most of Laura Antonelli's films.

Wifemistress is one of the films discussed in the Z Channel: A Magnificent Obsession documentary.

What I didn't like about that documentary is they praised that channel for showing the most obscure films, but everything they discussed was shown on the major cable channels in that period they covered.
Those same films were shown on HBO, The Movie Channel, Showtime, Cinemax, etc

As well, most of them were available on home video.

I've seen T.R. Baskin a couple of times. It's been on cable a few times.

I've also seen the Fifth Horseman Is Fear - I think maybe you mentioned this on FG on IMDb.

I know that it's been discussed there.

There are a lot listed though that I haven't seen and don't know much about.

Are you okay?

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I can never watch a dubbed movie.

I figured someone like you (or a few others) would have seen some of the movies I mentioned, but it's for others who might want something obscure. I figure if they like 90% of the movies I like, but don't know the 10% I post, there's a good chance of them liking it.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

👍

Dubbed movies can be entertaining…but for the wrong reasons…lol

They are often over-dramatic or exaggerated. I get a kick out of the American films dubbed into other languages.

Are you okay?

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

I know some people like to watch 70s karate movies from the East where it doesn't sync up, and a voice that is so Western sounding.

"What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?"

———————————-

oh wow!

That is actually a pretty difficult question to answer (for me at least).

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

It is very possible that somebody here has seen this semi-obscure movie. And if he has, then I would love to know what he thought about it!

"Who Killed Teddy Bear?" Sal Mineo had some good moves in him. Here he out-sexes super sexy Juliet Prowse.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

"Persecution" (1974) Lana Turner and her fat tabby named Sheba conspire to commit murder! This movie is THE most unintentionally hilarious movie I have ever seen! And I would love it if somebody here HAS seen this movie because then we could get together and spill some tea over this one! lol

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

Jim Henson's "The Cube" (1969). It's pretty good.

Also, "The Big Cube" (1969), a feature film starring Lana Turner. Goofy drug movie.

Re: What films have you seen that you think no one else here has seen?

"The Consequence" (1977) German film about sweet gay couple. I just watched it for the first time about 3 weeks ago. I loved it.

William Castle (my number one favorite director) directed some pretty obscure stuff.
