Horror : Best Underrated Horror Flick?

Best Underrated Horror Flick?

With October coming up, it's a great time to compile a list of hidden horror gems to watch as Halloween approaches.

My vote goes to Apostle (2018).

Re: Best Underrated Horror Flick?

I haven't seen that one.
For a second I thought you were talking about this one:

I don't watch too many horror films but want to start soon. I plan on doing marathons of '80s horror flicks.

Sorry I can't suggest any gems.

But I want to say HI to you!

Nice to see you here.

Let's go Brandon!

Re: Best Underrated Horror Flick?

Hello to you too!

There's nothing wrong with a little 80s slasher binge. Do you have a favourite among them?

I've always had a soft spot for the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.

Hark! Harold climbs a building.

😺 Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't. 🐱 Let's go, Brandon!

I’m sorry but what exactly is wrong with you?

Greetings. I arrived on Planet Earth from Planet Zambodia 333 years ago to rule Bongoland, as Prince of the Mongos

Darkness (2002)

Apostle is pretty good, though.

Re: Best Underrated Horror Flick?

What's it about? I checked IMDb, but it's basic synopsis is not particularly descriptive, and I didn't want to spoil anything by venturing into the 'Plot' section.

Is it reminiscent at all of The Others?

Re: Best Underrated Horror Flick?

Yes, that movie is a Halloween staple!

Re: Best Underrated Horror Flick?

Paperhouse, if it can be considered horror. Wikipedia calls it dark fantasy which sounds like a euphemism for horror to me.

Re: Best Underrated Horror Flick?

The synopsis for Paperhouse is fascinating. Weird, fantastical movies like that are absolutely the best kind of 'horror.' I'll be giving that one a watch for sure.
