Where is the public information concerning the condition of his wife? I know she is in a facility, but how does everyone know her condition?

Hagman spoke about her a number of times in interviews during the last year or so of his life. He rented a flat for her near his house so he could have 24 hour care by live-in nurses after keeping her at home became too hard.

But that doesn't tell us what her condition is; one poster said she was dying. How do they know that?

It is really sad what happened to his wife. They were devoted to each other. I remember reading of late an old article after his death where his old co-star Linda Grey said that he died from cancer, but really he died from a broken heart because tragically his dear wife had forgotten him. She was his life. How very very sad.

I just saw the article below. According to Larry's daughter, they did not have quite the perfect marriage that Larry had lead everyone to believe. It also said that he continued to drink even after the liver transplant.
