Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

Does it make you cringe? Is it like you're looking at an underage boy?

Asking for a friend.

I'm very shy.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I don't know, I've never been with a man who shaved it all

Not that I can remember anyway

How do you think you would react?

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I’d cringe if I shaved my penis.

How, for lack of a better word, so?

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

False advertising in the username.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

No! They're just jealous they weren't born with one and shaved or not, it is still coveted by them.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I think Freud's theory is very self-evident. In simplest terms, baby boys were born with their very own, personalized toy. And people, men and women alike, are covetous. That's just part of human nature. Of course not all people are discontent, for there's always going to somebody who has more (or less) than they do.

Can gratitude be seen as the flip side of greed???

If my lesbian friend went ahead with her sex change operation because she felt that having her own penis was the only way she could manage the trauma of having been raped, then I think that is just an impossibly tragic thing.

She (now he) also picked for himself a very unusual name. Sometimes I have to stop to remember his name before i speak to him.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

That must have cost a fortune

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I had a good friend who had a sex change operation (male to female). This was in 1998 and I want to say it cost around $25,000.

I do know that her breast implants cost $8,000. That much I do remember.

I also remember my friend telling me that there was an operation they performed almost exclusively in Japan where one's voice could be made softer, lighter and more feminine sounding by shortening the vocal cords. It sounded very extreme and I am pretty sure the cost of the operation was around $75,000. My friend opted not to have that one done.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

He must have been well off to afford that

You're fine just the way you are Ms. Cheeks.

You don't want to tarnish your soul being by selling out your integrity and honesty by seeing what you can get away with and not feel gratitude for the things you do have.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

Rachel was ALL about seeing what she could get away with.

I remember in college one time, after our class, Rachel and I were in her car, getting ready to exit the parking garage. Well, naturally, Rachel did not want to have to pay for parking. So, at the point of exit, with the cashier in their kiosk-like work space, Rachel saddled up to the car ahead of us. As soon as that person had paid and the big arm went up, the car ahead of us exited and Rachel shouted "HOLD ON TO YOUR PUSSY!" and zoomed right through before the arm had a chance to come back down.

As soon as she had cleared to the other side, she braked, clapped her hands and shouted "Yay! Now we don't have to pay! Wasn't that fun?!?!"

This was her life's m.o.

I do not recommend this approach to life to anybody.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

Thank you, Mr Toasty. I wouldn't even know how

And you're right about gratitude

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I'm sure there are many women out there who are comfortable with being female and despite what feminists claim about lack of equality with males, there would also be many women out there who are are self-aware of societies compensations that get made for the fairer gender.

Some things just can't be the same or equal for both genders and then within that dynamic, things are not in equilibrium between ALL of us when comparisons get made. Even aging and what it entails upsets the apple cart of equality.

If one is not gracious, then yes, there are coveting and envy issues going on and that is an undisputable fact.

Sometimes flaws may need to be addressed and for what we may perceive as ethical reasons and even for justice which is just an ideal. Thing is "fairness" has never been picky about what and whom it chooses and even nature within itself shows how ruthless and un-discriminatory life can be.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

You're being honest. And that's the thing. If I were a heterosexual female, I think I would enjoy having breasts and I would very much enjoy being with a partner who did have a dick and balls, as well as a moderate amount of body hair.

At the same there is something to be cherished about pretty, soft, feminine faces.

I wouldn't want to have sex with Marilyn Monroe or Brooke Shields (especially when she was younger, oh my goodness!) or Lois Nettleton, but I could stare at their faces for hours.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

Yes, you can appreciate beauty without wanting to have sex with them

The gay designer, Isaac Mizrahi, loves breasts

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

Yes. I used to find it interesting (and maybe a little dismaying) that most straight men could not bring themselves to acknowledge another man's good looks. Now I realize only too clearly that this type of guy is afraid that this might mean he's gay or something. (And if he's that worried about something so relatively innocuous, then perhaps he might be a little bit gay. Who knows?)

But I have never once known a woman who did not acknowledge that Jaclyn Smith is/was a beautiful woman.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

That's true and I like to acknowledge if a woman is beautiful

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

What women do you find beautiful?

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

Many! My step-dad would tease me that when he would mention someone on TV I would say I think she's beautiful

He said, "You think all women are beautiful!"

Off the tp of my head, Patricia Arquette, Nicholle Tom, a young Janice Dickenson, she didn't take good care of herself or she would still be beautiful

A young Debbie Harry, Joan Jett, Linda Darnell, Amber Valetta, Jennifer Lawrence, my cousin, Nicole

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

…but I could stare at their faces for hours.
You are thinking of that too from a gay man perspective and it is aesthetic. I can feel the same, but I can also feel the same about staring at a beautiful male face for the same aesthetic reasons.

Beauty is just beauty and it doesn't always have to involve sexuality. I'd say this is what straight men are insecure about regarding the beauty of their own gender.

One can see the same within the beauty of nature.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I don't know. For me, if I looked at Perry King's face or Rutger Hauer or Richard Warwick, there would be the extra dimensions of masculinity and desire that would pull me in.

Looking at Elizabeth Taylor's beautiful face is going to be a much more passive experience than looking at Rutger Hauer's beautiful face.

Now, there's somebody like Joe D'alessandro, whose face is a thing of undeniable beauty, but he does not turn me on in the least. So I might stare at his face for a bit and not feel much one way or another.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I get what you mean and sexuality can be a big push for someone we find attractive, but for me, not always.

I never really thought much of D'alessandro. He's classic chiseled handsome for sure, just something about the demeanor that I find unappealing. Warmth and generosity of character needs to shine through as well and I do like ugly/cutes and even mongrel looks too.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I agree about Joe. I don't know what he's like in real life, but in the Warhol/Morrisey movies, he's a blank. There is no projection of warmth or playfulness or humor. or even much personality. He's really not even all that masculine, if you think about it. I do know that he and Holly Woodlawn became lifelong friends and I find that extremely endearing. Holly was given extra doses of personality.

I have to admit that there are women who I find sexually appealing. Adrienne Barbeau and Elvira would be at the top of the list. They both have great bodies, big boobs and, most of all, a sense of humor and warmth and playfulness. (Elvira is especially playful! I love the scene in MOTD where Elvira is checking out the hot guy's nice butt! That seems so much more like a gay man's thing. Leave it to Elvira!) I just cannot get past female genitalia and, fortunately or unfortunately, I imagine women to be very intense in bed, and there are just things about women that intimidate me. Of course, the gender template I was given at birth would likely have much to do with this. (I am lucky, though, that never once did I wish I wasn't gay.)

But about goofy or ugly-cute men, I am in total agreement with you. Goofy looking men often give off a playful, sweet vibe and cute-ugly men often come across as highly sexual. I will have to think of a few examples of both.

Toasty, can you come up with a few names of men who would fit in with either of these types?

Would Christopher Walken fit in with this type? Ernest Borgnine? Tommy Lee Jones? The Donald character in BITB could fit in here. I can see him as sort of goofy-cute. But he has so much warmth and openness that he becomes extremely appealing. Hank is just straight up sexy! Larry is nice-looking and has a nice big ass, but he's a little dull. Just a little. Though I would be first in line for that third guy they were looking for to spice things up! 😉

thinking.gif Interesting question…
The sort of thing that comes up on this site so often, yet one, after all this time that has finally caught my attention… intriguing.

I confess that I have never had this conversation with my fellow women…

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

I know this is directed at the op, but looking at a fully developed donger on an adult male, shaved pubes or not, is a different sexual dynamic to looking at a females shaved pussy, because the genitalia are not as pronounced.

That hidden sexual mystique of females is not for me. Its just not as brazen, ballsy (lol) or even as honest.

Re: Are some women really afraid of a shaved PENI5 and crotch?

Yep yep yep!

It's that "honest" part about guys that I love so much. A guy just cannot hide his own horniness (re: boner) and I love that quality to no end.

At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum… it's breathtaking- I suggest you try it.

Hey, it's a kind of magic!
