This seems like the most perfect, first-date movie.

Horror, Comedy, Fantasy. It is more Argento-esque than any actual Argento movie.

It looks like if I saw the whole thing, I would never stop having nightmares because of it.

It's got a cute girl (Miki Jinbo) who runs around in her underwear for most of the movie.

But I a girl (who likes boys). Straight-up horror is like Meh, but if something has your guard down with humor and is then really the stuff horror is made of, then it creeps under your skin and strikes like a cobra!!

I don't know if you can classify it to a single genre.

It transcends several: horror; comedy; expressionist.

It certainly isn't a movie for everyone, but I doubt that anyone who has seen it will ever forget it.

you have to watch the company of wolves bc it is the most dream like movie ever made. the whole movie has the most dream like look and feel that is the closet to a dream kind of movie i've ever watched. it transports you to it's fantasy and magical world.
