The Soapbox : Dumbest post of the year contest

So here are the rules. Only post going back 12 months from this date are eligible. The post you submit must not be your own or any of your socks. You can only post one entry. If you find more than one you have to decide for yourself which is dumber and if necessary edit your post to reflect the dumber candidate. At the end of the week I will add a poll to the thread and we can vote on who had the dumbest post.
